Content: കാന്ധമാല്‍: ലഡാക്കിലെ അതിര്‍ത്തി മേഖലയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍-ചൈനീസ് സൈനികര്‍ തമ്മില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ വീരമൃത്യു പ്രാപിച്ച സൈനികന് നാടിന്റെ കണ്ണീര്‍ പ്രണാമം. ക്രൈസ്തവ കൂട്ടക്കുരുതികൊണ്ട് ആഗോള തലത്തില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ചയായ കിഴക്കന്‍ ഒഡീഷയിലെ കാന്ധമാലിലാണ് ക്രൈസ്തവ വിശ്വാസിയായ ചന്ദ്രകാന്ത് പ്രധാന്‍ (28) എന്ന സൈനികന്റെ മൃതസംസ്കാര ശുശ്രൂഷ നടന്നത്. കാന്ധമാലില്‍ മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും ഇതുപോലൊരു മൃതസംസ്കാരം നടന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നു കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട സൈനികന്റെ ബന്ധുവും മുന്‍ ഇടവക വികാരിയുമായ ഫാ. പ്രബോധ് പ്രധാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. Content: #{black->none->b->Passion of Jesus}# All the pain and passion that Jesus suffered bodily ended in His lifetime. It was the natives of Jerusalem who inflicted all these iniquities. But the adorable Sacred Heart of Jesus is suffering right from the beginning of the world to the end. The people responsible for inflicting this pain are the persons specially consecrated to His service, laity, rich and poor alike. When the hard-hearted people sin in churches, families, theaters, hotels, nightclubs, cities etc. it is the Divine Heart that suffers. When Mother Mary and St. Joseph wandered in search of a room, when King Herod wanted to kill the Prince of Peace and the holy family exiled to Egypt, when the Jews mocked Him and wanted to stone Him to death, it was the Sacred Heart that agonized. When His sweat turned into blood in Gethsemane and when Judas betrayed Him, it was the Sacred Heart that was pierced. From the day of the institution of the Holy Eucharist to the day of the end of the world, the very Sacrament of Jesus’ divine love is subject to conscious neglect, but the Sacred Heart through its miraculous mercy bears these terrible acts of sacrilege. The profoundness of this love is beyond human imagination. The history of saints who meditated on the passion of Jesus reveals that they not only glowed in His love but the divine fire consumed them and transformed them. We who wish to follow the steps of these saints should carefully contemplate on the painful passion of Jesus at least for a few minutes each day.
