Content: #{black->none->b-> Union of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the eternal Father}# The incarnation of Jesus shows that He obliged to the will of the eternal Father. Knowing that He will have to suffer cruel indifference, pain, indignities and disgrace, He willingly offered to take human form. From the day Jesus took human form and was born into this world until His death on the cross, He fulfills only the will of the Father. He prepares himself for the completion of the work of our redemption according to the plan of the Father. He shows neither disobedience nor selfishness. This should be a model for us. The only way to find solace, peace and happiness in the sorrows and pain of our life is to submit ourselves to the divine care. The pains and sorrows that we suffer are not accidental. We can see the work of God’s hands in this. Like the gold that is melted in the furnace is free of blemish, the souls that have been purified in the furnace of sorrows gallop to the highest level of hallowed life. Let those who are fearful and reluctant to bear sufferings and pain turn their gaze towards crucified Jesus, who is the lord of the world .Do not be doubtful in submitting ourselves fully to God. The merciful God who takes care of the birds in the sky, animals on earth and lilies in the fields will take care of us. To think that God will forsake humans whom He created in His own image is a grave mistake. The obedience of Jesus is a model for every one of us. In the garden of Gethsemane He agonized and sweat blood. His clothes were covered in blood and earth becomes drenched in blood. Overcome by fear He falls down. In the midst of severe pain and sorrow He prays helplessly: ”Father ! Not my will, your will be done” This is an example of total surrender, which world has never seen. At the last moments of His life on the cross at Calvary, the prayer He uttered is most meaningful, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit” and when He had said this He breathed His last. Jesus’ incarnation was to fulfill the will of God. He was born into this world on the time destined by the Father. He worked according to the plan of the Father. After finishing all the assigned deeds He dies. He is a model to all human beings. For thirty years He lived obediently under the care of these very ordinary people. Up to this day nobody has clearly understood the mystery behind this private life of the one who came to redeem us. The disciples of Jesus were neither well educated nor affluent. St. Peter who was selected as the first Pope betrayed Jesus thrice. Our divine Lord loved sinners and the poor and worked amidst them. He proclaimed the celestial mysteries which the world cannot apprehend to the poor fishermen. Through all these He proved the significance of humility.
