Through baptism, He cleansed you and saved you from the slavery of Satan. He showered His graces on you and most lovingly, calling you His son and friend, has placed you safely in His Divine Heart. Whereas, from the moment you could remember, you were forgetful of His immense love and mercy and walked away from His presence and maligned your soul with sin. Thereby your soul became the slave of Satan, who is the enemy of God. At that moment you lost all the graces and purity you received through baptism. Also, you were no longer called son, friend and most beautiful spouse of Jesus. You became wretched and worthless. The day you lost Jesus is the unluckiest day in your life. The day you lost Jesus, is the day you caused much pain to the Sacred Heart. The love of our all merciful Father is always attracting you. Jesus is causing fear, apprehension and remorse in you and forcing you to repent all your sins and obtain forgiveness. Yet, after you obtain remission of sins what has been your aim? Is it to remain steadfast in God’s love? You always forget his love and move far away from him. But, out of His immense love and patience He rushes beside you. My soul! Why don’t you recognize the love of your Divine Savior? Don’t you realize the pain you cause to the Sacred Heart by your continual fall? Don’t you hear Him beckoning you by knocking at your heart? Why does He seek you with enthusiastic diligence? Do you think this Sacred Heart will lose something if you are punished? He is constantly after you, so that a valuable soul will not be lost. My soul! Don’t you feel pity on yourself? Through baptism, He cleansed you and saved you from the slavery of Satan. He showered His graces on you and most lovingly, calling you His son and friend, has placed you safely in His Divine Heart. Whereas, from the moment you could remember, you were forgetful of His immense love and mercy and walked away from His presence and maligned your soul with sin. Thereby your soul became the slave of Satan, who is the enemy of God. At that moment you lost all the graces and purity you received through baptism. Also, you were no longer called son, friend and most beautiful spouse of Jesus. You became wretched and worthless. The day you lost Jesus is the unluckiest day in your life. The day you lost Jesus, is the day you caused much pain to the Sacred Heart. The love of our all merciful Father is always attracting you. Jesus is causing fear, apprehension and remorse in you and forcing you to repent all your sins and obtain forgiveness. Yet, after you obtain remission of sins what has been your aim? Is it to remain steadfast in God’s love? You always forget his love and move far away from him. But, out of His immense love and patience He rushes beside you. My soul! Why don’t you recognize the love of your Divine Savior? Don’t you realize the pain you cause to the Sacred Heart by your continual fall? Don’t you hear Him beckoning you by knocking at your heart? Why does He seek you with enthusiastic diligence? Do you think this Sacred Heart will lose something if you are punished? He is constantly after you, so that a valuable soul will not be lost. My soul! Don’t you feel pity on yourself?
